Dream Arcades Announces Compatibility with all Major Console Systems: Wii, Xbox 360, PS3
Sacramento, CA June 17, 2008 - Dream Arcades ( http://www.DreamArcades.com) is the first home arcade manufacturer to support all major home video game console systems, including: Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. Dream Arcades is now also compatible with a number of legacy consoles, including: Xbox, Nintendo GameCube, PlayStation, PlayStation 2, and DreamCast. Dream Arcades console adapters are available for between $35 and $99 depending on which console is desired. Adapters are available at the time of purchase, and existing Dream Arcades owners can purchase them individually.
“There are hundreds of games available for Xbox Live Arcade and Wii Virtual Console that play better using authentic arcade joysticks and buttons instead of plastic gamepads,” says Michael Ware, President of Dream Arcades.“That’s why we have decided to bridge the gap between home arcade and home console gaming. Now gamers have the option to play their favorite arcade-style console games without sacrificing the authentic arcade experience.”
As of today, all Dream Arcades models from self-assemble kits, starting at just $589 to the $3499 Dreamcade Vision 120 featuring a ten foot projection screen support Wii, Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, PlayStation, Nintendo GameCube, and DreamCast.
Existing owners of Dream Arcades home arcade cabinets should contact Dream Arcades directly to confirm compatibility. For ordering information, please visit http://www.dreamarcades.com .
