A real treat for gamers has landed in the form of www.gamemagpie.co.uk - a new website which allows gamers to buy, sell and part exchange games online.

www.gamemagpie.co.uk has been launched by the team behind the popular music site www.musicmagpie.co.uk ; that lets music lovers to buy and sell CDs via the website.

The website offers hundreds of game titles for the latest consoles - Nintendo Wii, Playstation 3, Xbox 360, as well as games for the PC and Mac.

www.gamemagpie.co.uk features a unique game valuing system which provides sellers with instant valuations of their games. Once a sale has been agreed, www.gamemagpie.co.uk will despatch pre-paid packaging for the seller to post their albums to the website, making the whole process as easy and convenient for the customer as possible.

Craig Dawson, operations director of www.gamemagpie.co.uk ; said:

"Previously gamers had to take their games into the high street stores in order get a valuation to sell or part exchange. The feedback we received from customers was they felt under pressure to sell their games in high street stores, even if the price was lower than expected, as they didn't want to take them back home.
