Press Release
New free online gaming e-magazine.
Thirteen1– Press Release, Hull, Monday 21st May 2008/…Thirteen1 free online gaming magazine!
Issue#2 of Thirteen1, the brand new online gaming magazine, has launched and is ready to read.
The independent publication released on the 13th of every month at 1PM is completely free to read and requires no download or subscription. The online magazine aims to bring coverage and shed light on all those things that really matter in the online gaming world.
After a successful launch issue boasting a 5 figure readership issue#2 is here and packed with great features such as a review on the hugely anticipated MMO Age of Conan, (including a special competition,) news, a recruitment special, MMO community reviews and more.
"We were overwhelmed by the initial reaction of the magazine," comments the Thirteen1 editorial team. "People seemed to really enjoy the fact that although we are serious gamers, the fun we have while making the magazine and playing the games is reflected in the articles. We also take great pride in searching every cornerof the online gaming world to find those little jems tucked away that people need to know about. We like the idea of featuring a game that may have originated from a bedroom along side games that have the stature of Age of Conan for example".
After the successful launch of its first 'Ask the Game' event Thirteen1 are in the process of announcing more games studios that will go online and field questions from gamers. The first event with the CEO of Omerta Game, the internets biggest Gangster MMORPG , was a huge success with Steve Biddick fielding questions and giving out prizes to those who submitted the best questions. The second game announced in the 'ask' line-up is the hugely controversial game 'Miss Bimbo' who no doubt will field a tidal wave of questions on their extensive mass media coverage and alleged 'negative influence' over children.
The third in the series will be with Age of Conan. The Miss Bimbo event which will run live on the forum is on May 22nd at 3PM GMT.
