Writers Guild GB award nominations announced

Rhianna Pratchett, Steve Ince and Tom Jubert up for gongs
The Writers Guild of Great Britain has revealed the shortlist for this year's WGGB awards, including the 'Best Videogame Script' category.
Leading the pack is Rhianna Pratchett, who has two nominations - one solo for Overlord, and one shared with Ninja Theory's Tameem Antoniades and actor Andy Serkis for Heavenly Sword.
Adventure game stalwart Steve Ince receives a nomination for his work on German adventure game So Blonde, and Tom Jubert gets a mention from his work on Penumbra: Black Plague.
The WGGB Awards take place at BAFTA in London on November 23rd. For more information, check out the WGGB website.

i guess it won't be Rob Yescombe from FRD then, despite them thinking Haze script is worth a Bafta....

In fairness, I think Haze missed the cut off point in April. Next year will be pretty tough: Haze, Fable 2, Mirror's Edge, Prince of Persia: Prodigy, GTA IV...
