Promotion for next month's conference comes with Vision Camera card

UK studio Rare is co-organising next month's Women in Games conference - but has used promotion of the event as a chance to let out a few details of its Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradisem, which is released next week.

Specifically, it has leaked out one of the collectable cards which can be scanned into the game using a 360 Vision Cam.

The conference itself, co-organised by Nicola Bhalerao a female games programmer on the new game, looks to promote the role women have to play in the games industry, and explore why girls can be turned off technology at a young age.

But Bhalerao has also treated fans while announcing her involvement in the conference - with, fittingly, a card of a female character from the game.

Prospective attendees of the event have just a week to sign up - registration closes on Friday, September 5th. It's being held at the University of Warwick from September 10th to 12th.

Prospective buyers of the latest Viva Pinata game, however, can click here to see the full size version of the card
