iPhone/iPod Touch game Aqua Forest developed by Prometech
Prometech's OctaveEngine Casual has been used in its first commercial game - the iPhone and iPod Touch title Aqua Forest, developed by Prometech itself for Hudson.
OctaveEngine Casual is a 'multi-physics engine', simulating interactions between soft and hard-body physics as well as fluid and gas simulation. You may remember that, several months ago, we did a story on OE-CAKE!, an awesome demonstration app of the engine.
Aqua Forest is essentially a game version of OE-CAKE!, allowing users to draw walls and use the iPhone's accelerometer to move water and other materials to the goal area of the screen. It also has a sandbox mode where users can save and share their created levels.
