Paris GDC: LittleBigPlanet chiefs discuss the virtue of small-scale iterative design
In a relaxed and lively keynote opening this week’s Paris GDC, the co-founders of Media Molecule outlined the creative vision behind their PS3 game LittleBigPlanet, stressing a major lesson about ‘learning to do more with less’.
Using examples from the founding of their studio, and then the idea which sparked their new PS3 title, company co-founders Mark Healey and Alex Evans told attendees that conventional wisdom around rising team sizes and budgets can be proven wrong.
