Final Fantasy XII composer wants to explore 'international opportunities'

Acclaimed Japanese game music composer Hitoshi Sakimoto is to expand his reach overseas, having signed up Four Bars Intertainment to represent him outside of Japan.

Sakimoto has worked on big Japanese titles such as Final Fantasy XII, Final Fantasy Tactics, Gradius V and Radiant Silvergun, and has worked on over 150 projects in the gaming and animation spheres.

“I’ve been wanting to explore international opportunities for quite a while now, and Im happy that we were able to create this business collaboration”, said Sakimoto.

“I’m hoping that from this, I’ll be able to bring a new creativity to match these games, which can require a different approach compared to Japanese based titles.”
