Frontier's Lost Winds and Nnooo's Pop launch games for Nintendo download service
Two new UK-made IPs are part of the Nintendo America launch games for WiiWare.
Frontier's Lost Winds and Nnooo's Pop arrive today in North America on the Wii-based downloadable games channel as part of the service's launch.
Other games on the slate for kick-off are Square Enix' Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King, Canadian outfit XGen's Defend your Castle, US team High Voltage's V.I.P. Casino: Blackjack and Gameloft's TV Show King.
“LostWinds has a great new control mechanic that makes the game feel really fresh – I think the quality of the game and the fact it’s a WiiWare launch title are things we can be really proud of “ said David Braben, Frontier’s Chairman and founder.
Nnooo's Nic Watt added: "We were inspired by Nintendo's approach to expanding the audience for video games, so we designed Pop to appeal to all Wiiô users and
to take advantage of the innovative features, not only of the Wii, but also the Wii Remote."

Good stuff - now provide a Wii channel that allows gamers to make and submit games for sharing.
It would be a great social thing and would make for more original games, open up game development to the masses.
