Smash Bros. and Kirby creator to present DiGRA talk on the fundamentals of fun

Masahiro Sakurai, designer of popular and long-running series such as Kirby and most recently Super Smash Brothers, will present a talk for DiGRA, Japan's Digital Games Research Association.

Taking place at the Fukutake Hall Running Theatre at Tokyo University's Hongo campus, the talk, entitled 'Game-ness', will explore the root of what makes a game fun, using existing games to explain the difficult-to-pinpoint principles that make games enjoyable.
