Call for papers open for GCAP 08

Asia Pacific conference submissions open until June 6th
The Game Developers Association of Australia, organisers of the Game Connect: Asia Pacific conference, has opened the call for papers for the 2008 event.
Taking place at the Hilton Hotel Brisbane in Brisbane, Australia from November 19th to 22nd, the conference is targeted at professionals in the games, IT, interactive entertainment, film and sound industries, and will cover topics such as online, mobile, serious and casual games.
The GDAA will be accepting talk submissions until June 6th, and says it is looking for talks in the fields of game development; writing and scripting; project management; serious games in defence, health, education and simulation; business modelling and marketing; finance and investment; and skills and recruitment.
“The new and game developer and publisher focused GCAP 08 program will address topics and trends of the Asia Pacific game industry," said Greg Bondar, chairman of GCAP 08 and CEO of the GDAA.
