Organisers of next months GameHorizon Conference in Newcastle-Gateshead have announced that Microsoft's XNA head Chris Satchell will be offering up a keynote speech at the event.

Satchell commented: “We expect to see a whole host of new ideas when community games launch on Xbox Live later this year. The democratisation of game development will foster the next wave of creativity.
New stars will rise in the industry as more people create games on XNA Game Studio and distribute them on Xbox Live to millions of consumers.”
