THQ to acquire Elephant Entertainment?

Publisher is ready to buy casual games firm, say reports
According to a report on GameDaily, THQ is planning to acquire Elephant Entertainment, the firm established by former Atari vet Wim Stocks.
Launced in June 2006, Elephant has worked on a number of different games, including FPS War Rock and MMO Sword of the New World.
But it's the company's casual games interest which interests THQ according to insiders - the firm has worked with Oberon Games, K2 Networks and Planetwide Games, and created a Cake Mania 2. It most recently partnered with Oberon to make its massmarket casual adventure titles based on the book by James Patterson.
