DLS-CSB aims to launch course by 2009
A new games course is to launch in the Philippines, Inquirer.net is reporting.
The De La Salle-College of St. Benilde (DLS-CSB) hopes to launch the degree by 2009, and will teach game development, programming, digital arts, animation, creative writing and storyboard development.
The course has been developed in association with the Game Developers Association of the Philippines, whose members have even offered to help teach the course.
“We always make sure that our offerings are always in accordance with the current industry requirements and so we work with the industry experts to impart their knowledge to students who will be part of their companies in the future,” said Benhur Ong, CSB Dean for School of Management and IT.
