Deal with Engine Software for DS and GBA audio engine Replayer
Game Audio Australia has teamed up with the Netherlands' Engine Software to make a audio playback engine for DS and GBA available for free.
The tool is devised by Engine Software.
"Supporting the very flexible XM music format, Engine’s Replayer is capable of playing intricate and adaptive music using only a tiny amount of CPU and RAM, with many advantages over native music formats," said GAA's announcement.
"The close relationship between Nintendo & Engine spans some twelve years, and has seen their Sound & Music Replayer grow to become the audio engine of choice across many handheld platforms."
