Blazing Lizards' debut Dodgeball game signs to new indie publisher
The debut game from Blazing Lizards - Pirates vs. Ninjas Dodgeball, the first game in the Pirates vs. Ninjas series - is to be published by Gamecock.
“If ever there was a team we were destined to work with and a game we were destined to publish, this is it!” said Mike Wilson, president of Gamecock Media Group - or, as the press release calls him 'grand champeen'.
“Going beyond the brilliant concept, Blazing Lizard has shown us that their title will set a new high bar for gameplay and graphical expectations in downloadable console games.”
“Why Gamecock? They understand what a developer wants out of a publisher,” added Chris Stockman, studio director of Blazing Lizard.
“It was an easy decision to team with them on Pirates vs. Ninjas Dodgeball, and we couldn’t be happier.”
The game is being developed as a downloadable console game due for release in Q1 2008.
