GDC Mobile 08 opens call for submissions

Plans building for GDC companion event in February 2008
GDC organiser CMP has opened the call for submissions to present lectures, roundtables, and panel sessions at GDC Mobile 2008.
The event takes place on Monday, February 18th and Tuesday, February 19th at San Francisco's Moscone Convention Center during the week of the Game Developers Conference which runs from the 18th to the 22nd.
GDC Mobile 2008 wants to "bring together publishers, traditional platform game developers, handset manufacturers, aggregators, and operators to discuss the opportunities, challenges, innovation, and viability in the space" via over 40 sessions looking at all parts of the industry.
"Our vision for GDC Mobile 2008 is to evolve it into a forum to address more of the technical challenges involved in the development of mobile content," said Jamil Moledina, executive director, Game Developers Conference.
"We look forward to receiving submissions for sessions that put the spotlight on original innovation and post-mortems on some of the groundbreaking content the industry has welcomed this past year."
Just last week organiser CMP also opened the call for papers for GDC 08.
