E3 2007: EALA developing Wii quiz game

First Buzz, then Scene It, now Smarty Pants
EA has announced that a family-orientated trivia game is in production for the Wii.
Made under the working title ‘Smarty Pants, the game is being developed in conjunction with Planet Moon Studios and will be launched on EA’s recently-formed Casual Games label towards the end of the year.
“Our Wii family trivia game is a perfect addition to EA’s recently formed Casual Games label,” said Kathy Vrabeck, president, EA Casual Entertainment.
“Part of our charter is to offer entertaining and stimulating games for the whole family. The prospect of kids being able to play with friends and parents on a level playing field is exciting.”
The news comes just a day after Microsoft’s announcement that it too will be publishing a quiz game with wireless buzzer controllers for the Xbox 360.
