The Japanese mega-show's 2008 outing promises to be bigger than ever...
Probably the biggest industry and consumer event in the world now that E3’s bubble has well and truly burst, the Tokyo Game Show is an important event that sees the cream of the Japanese development industry announcing and showing off their latest titles to crowds of adoring, hardcore fans.
But if you’re worried about not being able to get any business done, fear not – the first two days of the events are for business types only, allowing developers and publishers to conduct meetings without the throng of sweaty gamers.
Also important are the events that run alongside the Tokyo Game Show – CEDEC, the conference show for developers (whose dates are currently undecided) and DIGRA, a conference with a research/academic spin.
