Upcoming Event: 29th July 2008
Develop conference and Expo
Metropole Hotel, Brighton, UK
Our popular conference returns for another year...
Call us biased, but third outing for the increasingly-popular event for developers and games industry professionals is going to be the industry event of the year.
Taking place in the beautiful seaside town of Brighton, the conference once again takes place across three days with the first day dedicated to both the Develop Mobile track and Games:EDU, a unique networking and conference opportunity for educators and academics.
Key themes of the conference are Capitalise (looking at how developers can take advantage of the current generation's cyclical peak), Specialise (examining cutting-edge technologies), Inspire (motivating, recruiting and rewarding staff) and Enjoy (celebrating the industry's creativity).
In previous years the likes of XNA lead Chris Satchell, Rez supremo and Q? Entertainment honcho Tetsuya Mizuguchi, game designer extraordinare Peter Molyneux, and industry pioneer Richard Garriot (NCsoft) have been key speakers, and confirmed speakers for 2008’s sessions and talks are to be announced in the coming months.
